A number of crew members and a passenger have been injured when an
American Airways aircraft made a “onerous touchdown” on Saturday at an airport in
Hawaii.
In accordance with KHON,
American Flight 271 landed at Kahului Airport in Maui after a journey from Los
Angeles Worldwide Airport when the Airbus A320 “made a tough touchdown” on the
Hawaiian island at round 2 p.m. native time.
Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) officers mentioned that
six folks in complete have been injured and hospitalized, together with one passenger and
5 flight attendants. The aircraft then “taxied to the gate below its personal energy
and clients deplaned usually,” per a press release.
The hospitalized crew members and passenger have been launched a
brief time later.
The American
Airways A320 was carrying 167 clients and 7 crew members on the time
of the incident, and the plane was faraway from service following the
incident to bear service and security inspections.

launched a full investigation into the tough touchdown.
