Initially established in 2013 as a part of rejuvenation efforts within the North Road space of Belfast, the ‘Hit the North’ pageant’s affect and affect has grown considerably since then.

It’s now credited for nurturing and growing Northern Eire’s road artwork business domestically and over the previous 10 years has welcomed over 400 artists from everywhere in the world.
Adam Turkington, director of Seedhead Arts, stated the rising international curiosity within the pageant illustrates how Northern Eire is “effectively and actually on the centre of the road artwork world stage”.
“Over the past decade, HTN has cultivated a powerful fame for recognizing and nurturing expertise, giving artists a platform from which to develop,” he stated.
“Most of the artists who’ve returned to color landmark items in our metropolis similar to Irony, Nomad Clan, Dan Kitchener and Peachzz, had their first introduction to Belfast via our pageant.
“The pageant is the place they fell in love with Belfast and we fell in love with them.
“This 12 months, we’re proud to welcome a brand new batch of artists to fall in love with, alongside some outdated flames we haven’t seen for some time.
“We’re internet hosting extra worldwide friends than ever earlier than, all bringing buckets of originality and creativity to the streets of Belfast.”
